Renewal and Continuing Education
Enrollment Requirements for the FCCPC Online Program
•Must be 18 years of age or older
•Must possess a High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
•Must have access to the Internet through a JavaScript enabled web browser
•Must be able to speak, read, and write well enough in English to understand and complete the course material
•Must have access to a computer, printer, and a valid email address
Program Start and Completion Date
The FCCPC renewal/continuing education online training programs can be started anytime with the IECE's convenient rolling enrollment. Each of the 15 clock hour FCCPC renewal/continuing education online training programs are self paced and can be completed in as little as five (5) weeks; however, students have three (3) months from their enrollment date to successfully complete the program.
No Textbook Requirement
Course Options Include
•Emergent Literacy I (1.5 CEUs/15 hours)
•Emergent Literacy II (1.5 CEUs/15 hours)
•Positive Relationships with Families (1.5 CEUs/15 hours)
•Principles of Child Growth and Development (1.5 CEUs/15 hours)
•Effective Program Operation (1.5 CEUs/15 hours)

The renewal and continuing education programs are not under the purview of the Commission for Independent Education.
